Presented by Kristen Baker, Psy.D.

This workshop will review adolescent male sexual development and examine the warning signs and “red flags” that indicate more serious and unsafe behaviors. Statistics reflecting the prevalence of sexually problematic behaviors will be provided. Historical and current treatment and assessment strategies will be presented. Potential therapist-client dynamics that can impact the treatment process will be explored. The rules of consent, related laws and CPS mandates, will be discussed to highlight some important treatment considerations and options. We will explore the potential impact on the family. The process of reuniting family members where sexual abuse has occurred between minors will be explained and discussed. Resources will be shared.
